Launching our Renters' Rights Hub

Important help now available to understand key legislation proposals

The Renters’ Rights Bill - what’s it all about?

These days, when carrying out viewings, we’re often chatting with applicants about the impending Renters’ Rights Bill - just to gauge their thoughts. More often than not, they haven’t even heard of it, let alone know how it might affect them. Crazy, really, considering this bill is supposed to be for them (although time will tell exactly how much it improves the lives of renters…).

But it does make us wonder… how many landlords are also in the dark? With a financial stake in the market, you’d assume most are up to speed, but given how poorly this has been communicated by the government, we wouldn’t be surprised if many are still playing catch-up.

That’s exactly why we’ve launched our Renters’ Rights Hub - a dedicated space on our website where you’ll find key updates and useful info on this huge piece of legislation. More details below!

Base Launch Renters’ Rights Hub For Landlords

If reading and understanding 10,000+ word governmental legislation updates isn’t your forte, don’t worry, you’re not alone. That’s why we’ve put together the Hub, to help break things down and provide our take on some of the proposals.

Our Renters’ Rights Hub currently has three pages of content for you to review. The first is the Latest Updates page - a short summary overview of the bill.

Next page is our Our Guidance - this is where you’ll find a deeper dive into some aspects of the bill including our thoughts on the relevant topics.

Finally, we have a Resources page - these are relevant links to pages such as the Parliament Website, the GOV.UK overview page, and some further industry content.

If you find yourself a bit stumped on what the government is planning with rental reform, head over to these pages to take on a better understanding. If you have any questions at all, you know where to reach us for discussion!

Question: Is Hiring A Property Manager Worth The Investment?

That’s where a good property manager steps in. If you’re a landlord, you’ve likely asked yourself this question more than once: is hiring a property manager really worth the expense? We’ve tackled this question head-on and spilled the beans in our latest blog. From navigating tricky legal requirements to finding the right tenants and dealing with those 3am emergencies, we’re here to make life easier - the value of professional property management speaks for itself.

Honoured at the Negotiator Awards

Surely it’s never too late to share good news? While the Negotiator Awards were at the end of last year (and it’s somehow now nearly March?!) we are still delighted to share that we were humbled to receive two honours on the night:

🥈 Regional Agency of the Year - London: Silver

👏 National Lettings Agency of the Year (small): Highly Commended

Having now taken part in the Negotiator Awards for three years running, we are delighted to follow on from our success in 2022 (Gold for UK Small Lettings) and in 2023 (Silver for UK Small Lettings and Bronze for Regional London Agency). This year on year recognition of our high level of service isn't possible without our wonderful clients and residents - thank you to everyone who makes this journey possible.
